Education + Experience
My work experience began over 20 years ago, working with communities in humanitarian and development settings.  In the past 12 years, I have mainly worked with families and parents in a case management capacity.  Since 2015, my work focused on supporting men and fathers in a more therapeutic and psychosocial setting.  In all of my work roles, I have been passionate about facilitating empowerment, restorative process, wellbeing, and growth.  I am now offering counselling to individuals and couples.  While academic studies have supported the evolution of my roles, personal study has been a significant part of the process.

2022 - 2023

Grad. Dip. in Trauma-informed Process-oriented Psychotherapy

Pathways Psychology Institute

Process-oriented psychotherapy, also known as "processwork" is a two year post-graduate course in counselling and psychotherapy.

2007 - 2009

Master's in Public Governance

Charles Darwin University

Public Governance analyses the intersections, interactions, interconnectedness of the spheres of community, government, and market sectors.  In this study, I was able to hone my leadership awareness, conflict management skills, facilitation of cross cultural transformation, policy and advocacy design.

1995 - 2000

B.S. Human Ecology
University of the Philippines

Human ecology as a course integrates community development, social work, and family studies.  In this field of study, I have gained an understanding of having a systems lens in looking at issues or symptoms in individuals, families, and communities.
